The Collaborative Process
Strategizing
We will start our collaborative process by quantifying your emissions and waste consumption and using that data to define our offsetting goals. We will discuss how to prevent waste from your production from entering landfills, as well as how we can work with local organizations and municipalities to ensure your set is leaving a positive impact on the communities it affects. While strategizing, we will ensure that we can create the most ecologically responsible production while letting the shoot run as smoothly as possible and bringing an uncompromised artistic vision to life.

On-Set Staffing
Having an on-set sustainability representative is important in making sure sustainability practices are being followed by the cast and crew and providing education and coordination between crew members. An on-set representative can build connections allowing for better communication and more enthusiastic collaboration as we work towards a healthier environmental impact.

During the shoot and after wrapping, we will collaborate with various departments to evaluate and quantify their environmental offsetting and compare it to your goals. We can then further contextualize the data and strategize on how to make your next set even greener!
Who am i?
Hi! I'm Anevay Aponi
Based in New York City, I have been implementing ecological sustainability practices on film/television/commercial sets since 2019. On top of doing sustainability coordination and assistance, I have an incredibly diverse range of experience within the entertainment industry. I've done everything from theater, to props for IATSE Local 52, to working in the production office, to working in payroll. I understand what happens on every side of production, whether it be on set, off set, or in the production office, and am able to navigate collaborations between any part of a production in order to facilitate a smoothly-running, environmentally-friendly project.I believe that implementing sustainable practices on set does not have to interfere with the filming. It is vital, now more than ever, that we change the way we do things in the industry in order to mitigate the environmental harm that it produces. I would love to work with you to help make these changes!
